The Hikmicro Lynx 3.0 is a compact thermal imaging monocular that delivers smooth, uninterrupted image display thanks to proven shutterless technology. Unlike conventional devices, there is no brief freezing of the image during calibration, meaning movements can be tracked continuously at all times and concentration remains fully focused on the target.
Compact design for maximum portability
The device was specifically designed for high portability and impresses with its compact build, measuring less than 170 mm in length. This means it can be easily stowed in a jacket or trouser pocket and is always to hand. Weighing max. 410 g, the Lynx 3.0 is particularly suitable for longer field operations where low weight and freedom of movement are crucial.
Quick start-up and reliable operational readiness
With a start-up time of around 2 seconds, the device is ready for use in no time – regardless of whether it is in standby mode, automatic screen-off mode or completely switched off. This means the surroundings can be monitored without delay as soon as a situation arises.
Long-lasting power supply and smart connectivity
The practical battery life of at least 4 hours enables longer observations in the field. Thanks to the replaceable battery, the device remains flexible to use even during extended operations. Via integrated dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), the Lynx 3.0 can be connected to the Hikmicro Sight app to view thermal images live, save them and share them directly via a smartphone.

The extremely high thermal sensitivity of 15 mK enables reliable detection of even faint heat signatures, even under challenging conditions such as fog, dense vegetation or darkness. This allows the outlines of game to be clearly identified – even when animals are partially obscured or at a greater distance.This is supported by AI-assisted image optimisation with Image Pro 3.0 and Zoom Pro, which ensures a sharp and detailed display both at base magnification and when zoomed in. This enables precise assessment of movements, body shapes and differences between game species. The integrated 0.49-inch AMOLED display offers high-contrast, clear image reproduction and is designed to minimise eye strain. This makes the device suitable for extended observation sessions.
