Terms of warranty
ANSMANN
In addition to the statutory warranty, Ansmann grants you an extended manufacturer’s guarantee for certain designated products in accordance with the following guarantee conditions:
- ANSMANN AG guarantees freedom from defects, usability and durability of the materials used for the duration of the respective guarantee period.
- The guarantee period starts on the date on which the product is purchased and applies throughout the whole of the European Union. The precise guarantee period is stated in the product description.
- Guarantee claims must be brought forward immediately once you become aware of the defect and within the guarantee period.
- ANSMANN AG will fulfil a valid guarantee claim according to its discretion, free of charge, by means of a repair or exchange during the guarantee period. In case of an exchange, the old product will be replaced by a product of the same design, quality and type. Should the product concerned no longer be manufactured at the time of the defect notification, ANSMANN AG is entitled to deliver a similar product. Exchanged devices or parts of devices shall become the property of ANSMANN AG. The fulfilment of claims under the guarantee shall not lead to an extension of the guarantee period and shall not give rise to a new guarantee.
- Guarantee claims shall be excluded in case of damage due to:
- Incorrect handling
- Normal wear and tear
- Chemical substances
- Force majeure
- Interventions which were not carried out by our technical service department
- Unilateral/unauthorised repair attempts
- Non-compliance with the operating instructions
- Non-compliance with the safety precautions which apply to the product
- Use of force (e.g. blow, impact, fall)
- Sending in packaging that is not suitable for transportation
- In case of a justified claim under the guarantee, please send the defective product together with the
relevant service card and purchase receipt in a carriage-paid parcel to the following address:

Balzer
The Balzer company offers you a 5-year warranty against manufacturing
and material defects for reels of the Adrenalin series..
If
you need to place a warranty claim, just send the defective reel to
Askari together with the warranty certificate and the invoice.
Deerhunter
Deerhunter offers you a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects
forDeer-Tex® Membrane..
To place a warranty claim, send the corresponding product to Askari together with the warranty
label/hangtag and the invoice.
Please note: The Deer-Tex®-Membrane warranty covers manufacturing defects only and
applies exclusively to the following products: Almati, Cumberland and Mallard (excl. Art. 203688).

Askari provides a special 5-year warranty for all articles that bear the logo shown here. Warranty claims will be honoured independently of statutory liability and rights. If an article fails due to product defects within the extended five-year warranty period, which begins on the date of purchase, the buyer will receive a free replacement. For this purpose, the defective product must sent back to Askari at the buyer's expense (with sufficient postage) together with proof of purchase.
Lago
Askari provides a special 5-year warranty for all articles that bear the logo shown here. Warranty claims will be honoured independently of statutory liability and rights. If an article fails due to product defects within the extended five-year warranty period, which begins on the date of purchase, the buyer will receive a free replacement. For this purpose, the defective product must sent back to Askari at the buyer's expense (with sufficient postage) together with proof of purchase.
Leatherman
Leatherman provides a 25 year warranty.

Warranty Terms
This warranty applies only to the original/primary owner and not to misuse, alteration, theft, loss, or
unauthorized and/or improper use of your Leatherman product. The warranty program applies to tools
purchased for personal use only. This warranty does not cover bulk purchases from auctions or flea
markets with the intent to resell repaired or refurbished tools.
This warranty does not cover accessories, (exception: the Ainsworth holster is covered by a 2-year
warranty), imprints, color finishes, cleaning or sharpening. Please do not include a holster with your
shipment as it will not be returned. Choose an insured and trackable delivery service, as Leatherman is
not responsible for products that do not arrive by mail.
Leatherman Apparel and textiles are not covered by the 25 year warranty.
Please retain tracking information until Leatherman confirms receipt of your warranty claim. This
warranty covers products purchased through an authorized dealer. In some circumstances, Leatherman will
ask you for proof of purchase from an authorized dealer.
Leatherman Tool Group is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Additional rights may apply from country to
country.
LED Lenser
Scope of warranty
LED Lenser provides
a five-year warranty (seven years if product is registered) for all its
products beginning on the day of purchase, except for products of the
Solidline series and LED Lenser K1 and K2. This warranty does not apply
to alkaline batteries, holsters, pouches, remote switches, colour
filters, imprints, or surface coatings. For the proper functioning of
rechargeable batteries LED Lenser offers
a warranty period of 24 months. Claims under this warranty are valid
only if the product presents no damages or signs of wear caused by use
different from that intended by the manufacturer, nor any evidence of
repairs or other interventions by the customer or by repair shops not
authorized by the manufacturer. Damages caused by leaking batteries do
not constitute a product defect. Please contact the respective battery
manufacturer with claims for such damages. This warranty only provides
for replacement and repairs. No further claims—in particular,
compensation for damages—can be derived from this warranty. The warranty
period will neither be extended nor renewed when warranty services are
rendered.
Warranty claims
If,
against all expectations, your product exhibits a defect within the
warranty period, please contact our representative in your country and
present them with your original proof of purchase (must include date of

You must send your returns at your own expense. Collect-on-delivery (COD) returns will not be accepted!
Warrantor
This warranty is provided by LED Lenser GmbH & Co.KG (LED Lenser), Kronenstr. 5-7, 42699 Solingen,
Germany.
Warranty jurisdiction
This
warranty is valid in conjunction with and in addition to your
contractual or statutory rights vis-a-vis your retailer under your
country's legislation. Claims deriving from said rights must be
presented to your retailer.
Charges
Replacements
or repairs covered by this warranty are free of charge. However, this
does not apply to the costs incurred in returning the product to us. If a
warranty claim is presented and during the product check the
manufacturer or the responsible customer service unit determines that
there is no defect or that the warranty claim is invalid for one of the
aforementioned reasons, we reserve the right to charge you a service fee
of £20. This does not apply if under your given circumstances you were
unable to determine that the claim was invalid.
Miscellaneous
This warranty is valid worldwide and is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

30 years
The
NOBLEX brand name is synonymous with high quality. This is why we as
manufacturers—in addition to fulfilling the statutory obligations of the
seller vis à vis the buyer—offer an additional 30-year warranty on
NOBLEX devices, with the following coverage:
- In the first 5 years after purchase, we bear the costs of labour and materials for defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship. We reserve the right to decide whether to repair or replace the defective products
- In the following 25 years, we only bear the costs of materials.
- The warranty period begins when the buyer receives the product.
- This warranty does not cover damage from wear and tear, nor any wearing parts such as rubber reinforcements, leather coverings, carrying straps, bags, pockets, eyecups, or other accessories. This exclusion also extends to damages which do not impair normal use of the device.
- Warranty claims will not be honoured in case of interventions and repairs by repair services not authorized by our company or if the manufacturer's reference number is missing.
- For a warranty claim to be honoured, the optical device must be sent at your own expense to the agency cited on the back of this document, together with this document and a written description of the defect.
- Please address and sign this document, attach a record of the date of purchase provided by the seller and present your warranty claim to the agency cited below.
- All statutory rights derived from defects of the sold object at transfer of risk and any contractual rights of the buyer vis à vis the seller retain their validity in addition to the warranty extended by us. This provision applies irrespectively of whether a warranty claim arises and whether a warranty claim is made.
- The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
- The place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt (Main), Germany, if the buyer is a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law.

We are happy that you have chosen a Sportex quality
product. We trust that it will provide you with long-term satisfaction
and excellent performance on the water. As an bonus, Sportex offers you a
very special warranty for its outstanding rods.
Specifically, this means that you receive a 10-year manufacturer's warranty on
your new rod blank. Attached components, such as rings and reel seats, are covered by
the statutory 2-year legal warranty.
If
despite all care and diligence your rod develops a defect, Sportex
will, of course, repair it as soon as possible. To ensure this, we
request that you register your rod immediately after purchasing it.
Information recorded during registration makes it easy to match the
warranty to your product and speeds up processing.
You
will find a registration number on the front of your warranty card.
This number is unique and has been assigned exclusively to your rod.
Please fill in the "Rod Model"space
using the model designation inscribed on the rod or case. The model
designation always begins with 2 letters and ends in a 4-digit numeric

Steiner
Steiner products are divided into two categories, i.e. the Expert Class and the Professional Class. Steiner
offers a 30-year warranty for its Expert-Class products and a 10-year
warranty.
Users
who place their trust in STEINER attest to the precision, sturdiness
and functionality of its products. The long-term warranty on Steiner
products is valid worldwide and begins when the binoculars, monocular or
scope are handed over to the user. File your warranty pass carefully.
If you need to place a claim, fill the pass out completely and send it
to Steiner together with your binoculars, monocular or scope.
We
ask for your understanding that no warranty can be provided by Steiner
for wearing parts such as rubber reinforcements, carrying straps,
eyecups, or protective caps.
