Disposal of rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries

Under the German Battery Act, all consumers are obliged by law to return used and spent batteries and accumulators. It is forbidden to dispose of these together with ordinary household waste.

The German Battery Act requires us to call attention to the following points when selling batteries and accumulators or delivering appliances which contain them: Spent batteries and accumulators should not be disposed of together with ordinary household waste. Old batteries and accumulators can be disposed of free of charge at community collection centers and wherever batteries and accumulators of the same type are sold.

If you have purchased batteries or accumulators from us, you can return them to:
Askari Sport GmbH
Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 4
59348 Lüdinghausen

In doing this you are providing an essential contribution to the protection of the environment.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked within the following symbols:

Cd = battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium
Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury
Pb = battery contains more than 0.004% lead

Disposal of electrical equipment

The following information concerns the environmentally-friendly disposal of electrical and electronic appliances as provided for by German legislation regulating the placement on the market, return and environmentally-sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment (ElektroG): Beginning on 23 November 2005, manufacturers are obliged to mark every piece of electrical and electronic equipment they distribute with a symbol (crossed-out wheeled waste bin) and take it back free of charge. We would like to advise you that such used equipment should not be discarded together with unsorted municipal waste, but should be collected separately and disposed of at local collection or recycling facilities.
