Zeiss DTI 6 interchangeable lens (20 mm)
Flexible optics for different areas of application
The interchangeable lenses for the ZEISS DTI 6 allow the thermal imaging camera to be specifically adapted to different application requirements. The modular lens design allows the camera to be flexibly configured without compromising image quality or operation. Both lenses are precisely matched to the thermal sensor system of the DTI 6 and support reliable visualization of heat sources under real-world conditions.
Zeiss DTI 6 interchangeable lens (20 mm)
Wide field of view for complex terrain
The 20 mm lens is designed for situations where overview and a wide field of view are paramount. It supports observation in complex terrain where heat sources must be quickly detected and movements in the near and medium range reliably identified.
What should be considered before changing a DTI-6 lens?
The ZEISS DTI 6 must be switched off completely before changing the lens. The sensor is extremely sensitive to dust and dirt and must not be touched during the change.
Why is special care required when changing lenses?
The sensor of the thermal imaging camera must not be cleaned by the user, as even the slightest damage can permanently impair the image quality. If cleaning is necessary, it must only be carried out by ZEISS Customer Service.
In what environment should the lens be changed?
The lens should be changed in an environment that is as clean and dust-free as possible. The device should not be left without a lens, and the duration of the change should be kept as short as possible to protect the sensor.
How is a replacement lens correctly mounted?
To remove the mounted lens, turn it counterclockwise. The new lens is then inserted and tightened clockwise by hand. No tools are required for this.
Why is it necessary to adjust the settings in the menu after changing the lens?
The ZEISS DTI 6 does not automatically recognize which lens is mounted. After changing the lens, the appropriate focal length must be selected and confirmed in the device menu under Settings → Device settings → Lens so that the image processing is adjusted correctly.
