Ballist is a mixture of a worm and a twister with a solid shrimp attractant. The lure has an elongated, snail-shaped, ribby body and a small, soft twister tail. It can mimic a leech or a big nymph as well as an elongated baby fish and is perfect for rigs with lead wire lead, caroline or split shot. There are ways to make animations of various kinds, including slow and even animations and similar to twitching with small jerks. Ballist lures are very efficient in micro-jigs with slow reels or with lures pulled over the ground.
