ECO Trap Professional

Concept & operating principle
The EcoTraps Professional box trap is a robust rocker board live trap with two doors, designed for controlled and humane trapping. When an animal enters the trap chamber and puts weight on the central rocker board, it tips over and simultaneously triggers both doors, securely closing the trap chamber. The double-sided trigger prevents escape and ensures reliable capture.

Construction & Safety
All doors are fitted with a sturdy mesh (20 x 20 mm) on the inside to prevent the animal from chewing through the wood and at the same time ensure sufficient air circulation. The trap is closed by a double-locking bolt with two interlocking aluminum clips, which reliably prevents accidental opening and works reliably even in dirty, damp, or frosty conditions. The compact design reduces the possibility of the trapped animal taking a run-up or jumping against the doors.

Stability & bait system
The trap stands on two 12 mm high feet, which lift the wooden body off the ground and thus protect it from rising ground moisture. At the same time, they ensure a stable fit in a trap box. There are four recesses on the rocker board for bait, which are arranged in such a way that the animal must step completely onto the rocker. This ensures safe and reproducible triggering of the mechanism.
