The Ballistol Aluminium Bluing Set contains everything needed for professional restoration or re-bluing of aluminium parts. The black wipe-on bluing creates a durable, abrasion-resistant finish through oxidation—not coating. Thanks to the special aluminium primer, no sanding is required, even for special aluminium alloys.

User-friendly – also for beginners
Application is very straightforward: Apply the bluing with the supplied brush, allow to act briefly, and rinse with water after several cycles. The included Gunex special gun oil provides lasting protection against corrosion.

- 50 ml aluminium bluing
- 50 ml aluminium primer
- 50 ml Gunex special gun oil (spray)
- 2 pairs nitrile gloves
- 2 goat-hair brushes
- 2 absorbent cleaning cloths

Application note
Thoroughly degrease the surface before use (e.g., with Ballistol brake and parts cleaner). Apply primer with brush, leave for 20-30 seconds, blot off excess. Apply the bluing evenly, let act, and repeat the process up to three times as needed. Finally, rinse with water and preserve. Do not use below 20 °C.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Keep out of reach of children. Protect from sunlight. Do no expose to temperatures exceeding 50 o C/ 122 o F. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Causes serious eye irritation.
IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water [or shower]. Store locked up. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/ spray. Avoid release to the environment.
IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection/hearing protection/ Contact with acids liberates very toxic gas.
