Nemus White Ageing Timer

Game is placed in the curing chamber, and the process is managed not just based on subjective judgement, but with the support of a digital curing timer. Nemus is an electronic device that can be connected to the Tendy app and monitors the curing process. The process is controlled using so-called ‘40-degree days’. The app is used to set the number of degree days to be achieved, and the device helps to reach this target. This allows natural enzymes to break down connective tissue and proteins, making the game meat more tender and giving it a more balanced flavour.

Installing Nemus is simple: The device is positioned in the maturing cabinet using the supplied wall bracket or a hanger and switched on. It regularly measures temperature and humidity and records the data at five-minute intervals. The readings can be synchronised with the Tendy app via Bluetooth, with a range of up to 25 metres, ensuring the maturing process remains trackable and controllable.

The Tendy app allows you to see at a glance how far the maturing process has progressed as a percentage and how many days are still scheduled. This display simplifies planning and helps determine the appropriate time for cutting. Maturing processes can be shared with others via the app, enabling collaborative planning.

Nemus is compact and robust, designed for use in damp environments. The device is IP67 waterproof, CE-certified and equipped with a CR2450 battery that lasts for around a year. Up to five measurements can be recorded simultaneously, allowing several portions of meat to be monitored in parallel. The Tendy app is available on the App Store and Google Play, allowing access to the data at any time and from various devices.
