Haix Protector Forest 2.1 GTX Men (Red/Yellow)

The shoe combines robust suede leather with a hydrophobic, breathable surface and is 2.8–3.0 mm thick, while level 2 cut protection in accordance with EN ISO 17249:2013 provides additional safety. The inner lining made of waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Performance material with highly abrasion-resistant fleece ensures optimum climate comfort in all seasons and under all conditions. A plastic/fleece insole absorbs moisture, retains its shape and reduces pressure points. The anatomically shaped, padded HAIX® Protective Cap protects the toes, complemented by a comfortable, cushioning insole with separate heel cup for good foot guidance. The stable, abrasion-resistant VIBRAM rubber/PU sole offers slip resistance, a robust terrain profile, PU cushioning wedge for impact absorption and good rolling comfort; it is heat and fuel resistant and complies with EN ISO 20345:2011. The HAIX® Climate System transports moisture to the ventilation openings on the upper and tongue via the pumping motion when walking, while the HAIX® 2-Zone Lacing allows separate adjustment of the foot and upper areas. GRIP+ metal spikes provide additional sure-footedness on branches and tree trunks. Other features include the smooth-running lace element, no side seams, edge-stable sole, rubber toe and heel protection, and a circumferential rubber edge strip for protection against stones and thorns.
